A young woman who threatens her cousin’s wife with black magic… An adaptation of the Turkish horror film Siccîn (2014). Before the movie starts, there is a short trailer of Pemukiman Setan (2023). Reworked by Siccîn (2014). I don’t understand what the director is trying to achieve with this adaptation. Are you saying they shouldn’t pray because it doesn’t help them do evil deeds? Because that’s exactly what you’ve been doing since the Makmun series came out. You create fear in people that if they pray alone, even this particular evil can pray with them. Even if it exists, should it be a big deal? Spreading more fear than encouraging them to actually pray? Shame on the director who thinks this is a masterpiece. Because no.
