Plot
The untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies who were once friends and bonded like brothers, changing the fate of Cybertron forever. Chris Hemsworth, Keegan-Michael Key, Brian Tyree Henry and director Josh Cooley discuss the true identity of the Transformers and share what led them to make the journey to Cybertron. Megatron’s original name, D-16, is a reference to the Japanese serial number of the original first generation Megatron toy released by the Takara company in 1984. The letter D is short for Destron, the Japanese name of the Decepticons used in older media, while the number 16 designated the original Megatron toy as the sixteenth release in the Japanese toy line. When the Iacon 5000 competitors transform for the race, a purple jet Transformer already has a pair of red light effects floating behind his back and not attached to anything before he transforms into a jet.

There are two scenes in the credits that are worth staying for. One is mid-credits and features Badassitron, the other is Megatron at the end of the credits.. Several international releases of the film (including the UK) are edited to omit Orion’s “finger transformation” a few seconds earlier, and any mention of Bee’s “knife hands” was changed so that they were referred to as “sword hands” instead. It’s likely that Paramount pre-cut the film for the territories mentioned.. I am also quite surprised at how fun this franchise can be
For rather simplistic trailers, this film goes into greater complexity that is inspiring and even heartbreaking at times. The bond between Orion and D was sweet, and seeing them fall apart left me on tenterhooks. What I like most about the movie is that it is a definitive Transformers movie. It is the Transformers movie that fans have been waiting for for a long time. It was such a cool experience to finally see the Transformers story on the big screen.
Bumblebee, I mean Badassatron, is definitely the best part
I can’t wait to see the future of this franchise and how our two main characters develop into their different characters and learn more about their backgrounds.
