Plot
When a retired CIA agent suddenly visits him after nearly three decades, he is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares.. During that time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with and subsequently treated for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. After he recovered, the series went back into production.

Bridges’ return was called a "long weekend" Featured on a July 2022 podcast.. The show starts off strong with great action and a slow roll of the back story that keeps you very intrigued. Once you get caught up in episode 4, things don’t go so well.
Lithgow and Bridges are excellent
The Shawcat is a boat anchor that delivers almost uniformly on every line. Neither character is particularly interesting. When the plot development and action slows down after a few episodes, awkward dialogue fills its place.
How much more is a bad script?
It’s clear that the writers tried to recreate the script of The Counselor by Cormac McCarthy but didn’t do a great job. The instructor’s more literary style confused many viewers. I will continue to wait and hope things get better.
